Reservations Consultant -
Casual, Gray Line

Gray Line is Australia's leading provider of premium sightseeing tours and proud to be affiliated with Gray Line Worldwide, the world's leading destination management company.

We are currently seeking a casual Reservations Consultant (approximately 10 to 20 hours per week) with a high level of motivation, energy and drive to join our reservations team, based in Mt Waverley. The Reservations and Sales Centre is open from 6:30am till 10:30pm, 7 days a week with afternoon shifts 1.30pm to 7pm weekdays to fill.

This sales and service oriented role will require broad availability across weekdays and weekends, some public holidays and will require the full capacity to work early and late shifts as required.

Thriving on providing exceptional customer service to travel agents and direct customers, you will have the ability to:

• Convert sightseeing enquiries to sales over the phone
• Respond to email and live chat enquiries in a professional, efficient and timely manner
• Work within a team to achieve group performance targets
• Demonstrate patience and exceptional customer service
• Communicate clearly with customers who often have a basic understanding of the English language

Additionally the successful applicant will possess:

• Strong telephone and communication skills
• The ability to relate to customers and build rapport effortlessly
• High level of motivation
• A willingness to work flexible hours
• Exceptional attention to detail

Experience in the tourism industry is not essential, customer service and sales experience will be highly regarded. Applicants with Mandarin language skills are encouraged to apply.
